Listen "Philly DA's Office withdraws all charges against 'Diaper Crew'"
Episode Synopsis
The Philadelphia District Attorney’s office has withdrawn all charges against all defendants in an alleged "retail theft gang," known as the "Diaper Crew."
On Monday, prosecutors dropped retail theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy charges against Byron Jordan-Prince after refiling charges against him in June.
He, along with Lytrell Scott and Daquan Johnson, was arrested in July 2024, accused of targeting dollar and drug stores throughout the city in an organized manner.
They were deemed by police as the "Diaper Crew," accused of stealing mostly diapers, as well as batteries and coffee, at mostly dollar and drug stores.
Charges against Johnson and Scott were withdrawn earlier this year.
