Episode Synopsis
A police shootout in Camden Tuesday night left a police officer and a suspect injured.
It happened just before 11 p.m. at Chesapeake and Congress roads in the Fairview neighborhood.
Police said the officer was shot in the arm. Another cop returned fire, striking the suspect.
Both are expected to physically recover. The suspect is also in custody.
Police did not say what led up to the shooting. The investigation has been turned over to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
