It'll soon cost more to cross several bridges over the Delaware. It's a $2 jump for cars that don't have E-ZPass. Those drivers will pay $5 to travel to Pennsylvania on the Trenton-Morrisville, Scudder Falls, and New Hope-Lambertville bridges.
If you do have E-ZPass, it's a 50-cent increase to $2.
Truck drivers also face higher rates.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission says the move is necessary to finance projects, offset rising construction costs, and keep its credit rating.
The rates take effect "on or about" New Year's Day.
