Listen "S1 E5 - Debbie Howard, Psychotherapist"
Episode Synopsis
Hi folks, and welcome back to a new episode of Know You Better
This week I'm talking to psychotherapist, Debbie Howard.
Just a little content warning here before we start, but in this episode we'll be discussing eating disorders in quite some depth. Just so you know before listening any further.
Debbie is a psychotherapist who specialises in treating patients with eating disorders. It's something of a personal area for Debbie, having suffered with a eating disorder for several years, starting in her teens as a gymnast and continuing into her twenties. Happily, she has come out the other side happy and healthy.
I chatted to Debbie about her experiences living with an eating disorder, the kind of treatment that she provides today as well as talking about the charity her family have set up to help other families that are going through similar situations.
Thanks, as always for listening. I hope this episode is informative.
