Listen "Molehill Mountain Episode 418 – AI Hurt My Feelings"
Episode Synopsis
My precious, fragile little feelings.
0:00 - Throw a magic baby at it!
7:47 - Monster Hunter Wilds is still fun. So I'm still playing it.
22:26 - I organized one of those silly games you play on corporate Zoom calls. You know, team building and stuff? Anyway, one of the teams used AI to respond to the creative task my game assigned. That genuinely hurt my feelings. Like, I get it. I don't care for those types of games either but honestly I'd rather you just bow out than use ChatGPT.

7:00 PMaddictedtochaosHello
7:01 PMCollin AsmusIt’s 10:00 pm over here in the east
7:25 PMaddictedtochaosI gave an AI a simple test, I asked for the lyrics to a song, that I already know the lyrics to. It either gave me the lyrics to a song of the same name, or it just made one up.
7:31 PMaddictedtochaosWhen I corrected it and told it to try again, it did give the correct lyrics on the second try.
7:34 PMaddictedtochaosSupposedly EA’s new owners want games to be made using Generative AI.
7:40 PMaddictedtochaosIf they do that, EA won’t exist in 5 years.
7:44 PMaddictedtochaosDid they ever not watch, Terminator or The Matrix?
7:48 PMaddictedtochaosI would not be able to do that.
7:54 PMaddictedtochaosSo it is something that Hollywood would jump at the chance to make.
7:58 PMaddictedtochaosI’ll have to work for 20+ years after I die.
