In Matthew Chapter 10, the disciples are sent out with instructions to heal people and free them from sickness and possession because the Kingdom of Heaven is near. In this text, the disciples are reminded that in order to be effective they must be good stewards of the authority given to them, because some are unworthy of peace offered by the Gospel.
