Tonight we start a short series looking at the book of Ruth in the Old Testament. Ruth is a beautifully written account of what happens when tragedy strikes and life gets impossible. This week, Ruth carries the “hesed” of God to a hurting Naomi, whose bitterness has made her wonder if God cares anymore about what happens to her. Where is God when things get rough?
