Carolina Mond (MØND) producer, DJ and vocalist, begins her musical journey at an early
age working as a session artist, composer and vocal arranger for different artists in multiple
genres as well as films, commercials, TV series etc. in addition to providing her voice to
Disney Latin America and being part of Cirque du Soleil’s talent bank.
In 2012 she emigrates to Berlin, where she immerses herself in the world of electronic and
club culture and is influenced by the dance floors and sounds of this city.
Back in Mexico in 2018 she starts DJing in the main underground venues of her hometown
Mexico City, which leads her to soon position herself among the national scene. She is also
part of a female collective and recently also a record label: WOMXN and WOMXN Records;
a strong and solid collective of women dedicated to increase and support female talent
behind the decks and which has achieved recognition and support by many institutions,
such as Roland, VansChannel66 and most recently Mixmag Mexico.
Navigating the sounds of downtempo, organic house, deep house and minimal, MØND is
able to captivate the most demanding dance floors, always with a characteristic and
enveloping stamp with the power to transport us to her magical inner world.
