Episode Synopsis "My Stroke Story with Susan"
We will hear from a stroke survivor to get a first-hand perspective on what can happen when someone has a stroke and starts on the road to personal recovery. No two strokes are the same. Strokes can affect a person physically, mentally and emotionally. Most survivors are impacted in other ways as well. For listeners who have also had a stroke, this is an opportunity to hear someone else's story which can be encouraging and offer insight into your own path of recovery. I am your host, Dr. Karen Malone PT, DPT in Saint Paul, MN. Thanks for joining us! You can also find us in The Stroke Movers, a facebook group for those looking for a way to improve independence and confidence after a stroke!
