Kartini Clinic, founded in 1998 in Portland, Oregon by Dr. Julie O’Toole, specializes in the treatment of eating disorders in children and adolescents ages 6 to 18. Our family-centered program combines strong medical care with a focus on restoring healthy growth and development. Since opening, we’ve helped over 3,000 patients and families from across the U.S. and around the world.

We believe eating disorders are serious brain illnesses—not caused by parents or a child’s choices—and we are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
