"Relieved or Relieving"
âA funeral procession passed by Allahâs Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) who asked, âRelieved or relieving?â The people asked, âO Allahâs Messenger! What is relieved and relieving?â He said, âA believer is relieved (by death) from the troubles and hardships of the world and leaves for the Mercy of Allah (Azza wa Jal), while (the death of) a wicked person relieves the people, the land, the trees, (and) the animals from his evil, wicked actions.ââ [Sahih Bukhari]
