Dr. Mannion discusses the EMT experience for first-year medical students and the program’s partnership with Prisma Health. The training helps SOMG’s future physicians to better understand the socioeconomic influences on the patient experience and to be prepared to face an emergency. “You want to be on a plane with our students,” says Dr. Mannion.
