There are examples in both the Old and New Testament. Here in 2 Corinthians 11, Paul is refuting the "super apostles" and their teachings. Just as the Corinthians had to show discernment, we do too because Satan "masquerades as an angel of light". We must be on guard and know the Word to stand fast!
