Send us a textThe greatest battle believers fight is the sin within us.  Getting people to understand that the sin in us is something God can overcome in our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit seems to be a task that constantly needs to be reiterated.  Chapter 7 is basically the defeating power of our flesh and chapter 8 is the victory in Jesus.  So the two chapters go together forming a sobering look at each at the state of our lives without the power of the Holy Spirit and the victory that we can have if we are willing to surrender to Jesus.
