Send us a textWhen a person is expecting an upcoming event where they will be in the spot light, they prepare for that day so that they may not feel ashamed when the time comes.  A singer will rehearse, an athlete will train, a student will study.  All to ensure they are at their best for the event.  With Jesus, the concept is the same.  We will be standing before Him, and this life is our time to prepare to meet our King.  So being ready to meet Him at any minute is not only is wise, but it creates in us a seriousness about following Him that brings about really cool things.  And then we can rest assured that if I am taken out suddenly, I am good to go.
