Episode Synopsis

In this weeks episode we chat with the lovely Kristy Cooper of Little Doula On The Prairie.

Kristy Cooper is a mama to two little girls, a wife to a Newfoundlander & a certified birth doula & birth educator. Living near Tofield alberta, She has been blissfully in birth-work since 2017 & since then, she has became the successful Owner of Little Doula on the Prairie where she supports families in east-central Alberta.

Having grown up on a family farm in Alberta, Kristy has been surrounded by birth from a very young age which has led to her to believe that birth can be a very organic & transformative experience when it is honoured and respected.

When Kristy isn’t momming, she is also the Host of the ‘Birthing on the Prairies’ podcast where she speaks with Alberta families about their personal birth stories in every shape and form. Kristy is also very passionate to help other Doulas meet the growing need for labor support in our communities. She has embraced the power of social media to create relationships, connect, educate and raise awareness within our birthing communities to foster powerful & strong Alberta families.
