Episode Synopsis
Rachel was recently in Jonesboro, Arkansas for the second time in 2022 to speak with the students at Jonesboro High School. In this episode, she introduces you two two inspiring women who are driving real change at the high school. Shatel Gaines is the guidance counselor who secured a grant to have Rachel speak at the school this fall; she continues to work closely with Rachel. Sydney Parker is a senior at the high school. As a result of Rachel's earlier visit, Sydney started the Don't Suffer Alone Club. We'll hear from both women to learn more about the mental health advocacy efforts at the school and the impact these additional mental health resources are having in their community.
