The fire of God is not something we stand outside of in fear — it’s something we are invited into with reverence and joy. At Sinai, the flame warned and separated. But through the new covenant, at Zion, it now welcomes and transforms. This same fire — holy, consuming, and alive — no longer marks distance, but intimacy. We do not merely observe His fire; we are refined by it, known through it, and made radiant within it.
