Episode Synopsis
Monique DeBose wants you to #JoinTheRallyCall. The Los Angeles based artist-activist calls upon everybody to own all parts of ourselves and our history – the good and the bad – so that we can openly and honestly confront the challenges that face us as individuals, as a society, and as a country. Monique’s message and expression comes in multiple forms – as a singer, songwriter, actor, poet and playwright – making her a boundless artist that can’t be categorized. The song and video of her landmark song, “Rally Call,” is an important anthem for our time.
