Listen "3. RKCB"
Episode Synopsis
Joy Sounds features the ethereal and haunting sounds of RKCB. Profiled in Forbes magazine as breakthrough artists who are successfully navigating the digital landscape, RKCB talks with Joy Sounds about their spirit of experimentation and how a trip to London provided the inspirational spark for their most recent ep, Shores. With a sound described as “sexistential,” their songs have equal parts new school and old school elements that instantly gives a sense of timelessness and longevity to their work. RKCB perform three beautifully stripped down versions live from the Joy Sounds studio of “Till We’re In the Sea,” “Naïve,” and “Flowers for Vases.”
