Episode Synopsis "(05): Applying to MD-PhD Programs: Letters of Recommendation and Pre-Writing Secondaries"

Welcome to JourneyToTheDoubleDoc-- podcast edition! Our names are Maya and Kenneth, and we are M1s in the Harvard-MIT and Penn MD-PhD programs. Originally a video, we created this episode to talk about asking for letters of recommendation and pre-writing secondaries for MD-PhD applications. LORs and secondaries are two of the most important parts of the MD-PhD application, and we provide advice on how we asked for LORs, managed all of the secondary essays, and generally navigated this stage in the application process.  JourneyToTheDoubleDoc was created to democratize access to MD-PhD advising resources, and we love to hear from prospective MD-PhD students. If you have any question for us, feel free to tweet us @KennethHPham @MayaTalukdar or e-mail us at [email protected]!
