This episode is a discussion of the Drake Equation - first posed by Frank Drake to answer the question "how many communicable civilizations are in the Milkyway galaxy?" in the 1960's we go over the factors and the answers you can come to from there.We then look at the Fermi paradox, proposed by Enrico Fermi which then asks "then where are these civilizations?".
