She is also a Certified Traumatologist with the Green Cross School of Traumatology and has a year of post-graduate studies in Strategic Leadership. Vernicia has over 16 years of experience in management and currently serves as Client Services Director at a medical clinic in Northern Virginia. She manages the hiring, training, and supervisory duties for the counseling staff, medical staff, volunteer mentors, and medical professionals.  

As President and Founder of S.T.E.P. Consulting Group, she uses her passion for teaching, leadership knowledge, personal experiences, and public speaking skills to influence audiences in the U.S. and abroad.  

Vernicia is Founder of the Stepping Into Purity and Beyond Group (on Facebook) and Author and Facilitator of the 12-Step Incubator Program.
