Journey welcomed 2023 with a unique gathering last Sunday. Instead of the typical rows of seats arranged to listen to a pastor's message, we welcomed people to tables set for breakfast and conversation. If you want to know the vision of Journey, that's it: We seek to be a community where all are welcome, hospitality is extended and we know each other deeply as we seek to know Jesus together.

A listener asks how our belief that "all are welcome at the table" squares with 1 Corintians 5:11, in which Paul warns a church not to "associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[fn] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people."
