Listen "The Fathers House"
Episode Synopsis
Traditional Jewish weddings consisted out of a bride price being paid by the bridegroom’s family to the bride’s father and then the bridegroom would leave his future bride with her father and go and prepare a place for them to live after the wedding. At the completion of this preparation, the actual wedding or marriage supper would take place. Jesus paid the price for His bride on the cross. He spelled out to his disciples that He was the temple or the father’s house, and that the dwelling place He was going to prepare, was in him, not actual houses. He was the true tabernacle of God, a building not made with hands. Jesus prepared a place for us by building us up as a spiritual temple, a true temple of God, where the veil is removed so that we can see who we are. The temple of God is us, not some earthly building or temple. The marriage supper of the Lamb is to freely eat of the tree or bread of life which exists within us.
