Morning routines do not have to be long or complicated, but they should fill you up so that you feel ready to take on the day.

Today, we talk about gratitude and how it can affect you physically. A research study done by UCLA shows that practicing gratitude — 15 minutes a day, five days a week — for at least six weeks can enhance mental wellness and possibly promote a lasting change in perspective.

Gratitude and its mental health benefits can also positively affect your physical health such as reduce depression, lessen anxiety, support heart health, relieve stress, and improve sleep.

There are so many ways to practice gratitude such as:
-journaling
-writing down 3-5 things you are grateful for
-taking a mindfulness walk or yoga
-pausing to say thanks or reframe your mindset
-saying a prayer
-sharing your gratitude with those around you
