He began with Yuri Buenaventura, then became a member of bands as famous as the Paris Latin salsa, Raul Paz, Orlando Poléo, El barrio, and learned how to be a complete artist. He’s regrouping in Esclavo moderno, with the richness of his experience and history; he has managed to create his own unique style. Luis Haseth’s music is an expression of his outlook on actual society. Live salsa is an engaging music about social, political, and economical realities lived by all people around the world. An explosive and revolted salsa, inspired by his childhood and the treatment received by black people in his city: Buenaventura. Inspired by his life and his father’s experience, Luis’ strong and protesting lyrics express, before all, a message of hope. Esclavo Moderno was made by traditional Colombian musicians, with the colour and the particular sound of bands Grupo Niche and Guayacan for the rhythmic parts.
