35 year old Chicago native Derrick Rose had a HELL of a start to his career in his early years in the league, before his career was plagued by major leg injuries. These injuries robbed us all of witnessing a VERY promising career and more importantly, potentially robbed Derrick Rose of achieving historic accolades. Though injuries would essentially ruin Rose’s career, in the short time span that Rose WAS healthy, he DID achieve some noteworthy accolades that few others in league history have. Despite these accomplishments though, credible NBA site Basketball Reference, has listed Rose’s hall of fame probability at just 10.5%. This given percentage would be reposted on Instagram by ESPN. Are Rose’s achievements, and greatness he displayed during his short, but dominant prime enough to earn him a hall of fame spot? Or will he end up being another really good player, who won’t be given his flowers because of his lack of durability throughout his career? Let’s look at both sides and find out.
