Many jump into marriage from the hopes that good intentions alone can suffice to hold the relationship together. And societal pressures to wed, particularly in conservative society like Indonesia, reinforced our episode guest's decision to marry despite having no clear vision and desires from what her married life with her then husband would be. Broken down communication further made it hard for the young marriage to survive.
