The next installment i'm excited to present is from my friend @lucifia_angebarnett. Lucifía (Ange Barnett) is a long time lover of electronic music. Her stage name is in reference to Lucifer the fallen angel, a play on her actual name and indicative of her dark sound. Delving into the Melbourne scene in the late 90s, her passion for DJing was first unleashed in bars and small warehouse parties. Soon after beginning mixing Lucifía took herself to Europe, and eventually resided in Spain to further feed her appetite for eclectic electronic music. Without knowing any Spanish, Lucifía communicated through music and became deeply involved in the free party scene. In the abandoned castles, warehouses and forest areas Lucifía unleashed her driving beats and deep baseline grooves in both the main and chill stages. When Lucifía finally returned to Melbourne she pursued her other passion in animation and motion graphics. Over the past ten years she has made a name for herself as VJ Pixel Angel, performing in festivals and clubs across Australia. However her love for DJing never wavered and she continues to mix at any given opportunity, showcasing her passion and knowledge of electronic music spanning over 25 years.
