The surge in adolescent mental health issues following both the COVID-19 pandemic and the introduction of smartphones is something that few of us seem sure how to deal with. As a teenager who has herself suffered from an eating disorder and recovered, I want to explore the best ways to navigate this challenging landscape from the inside. In this podcast I chat with professionals in the field to provide insights into the causes, symptoms and long-term effects of some of these illnesses. The aim is to be thought-provoking and to provide clarity, hope and a more rounded understanding of what it means to be a young person in these fast-moving, often tricky times.
