Mixing Up a Doctor’s Clinic and Spa with Letrice Mason

Listen "Mixing Up a Doctor’s Clinic and Spa with Letrice Mason"

Episode Synopsis

In this week’s episode I sit down with Letrice Mason, a nurse practitioner who started Essential Body Bar in Houston Texas. She works to blend medical practices with relaxation techniques, from working with injury to massages, herbal remedies and more. Letrice understands the importance of not putting any one individual in a box, but believes that it is essential to customize health plans and routine around each individual.  She has done an amazing job at this through her business where her clients come just as much to see their friends as they do to be treated. Letrice uses ancient techniques such as the use of wood, herbs, and steaming to create a customized plan for her clients that is unique and effective.  She also has blended the mixture of spa and doctor’s office to take away a lot of the stigma that surrounds going to your doctor. We talk about how that is both essential to drawing more people into appointments and how it benefits the mind, body, and soul.
