Episode Synopsis

In an ever changing world, how can we best adapt to it and become the BEST versions of ourselves? Moving forward will soft skills be our greatest asset? Our guest this week, Emma Sue Price, author of 7 Skills for the Future believes that  soft skills are the future and in this interview she shares with us exactly why. Emma says that she “didn’t set out” to write this book, however after being asked to define the most valuable soft skills she decided to put pen to paper and help us as leaders understand which skills are the most crucial to our growth. She shares with us how to not only refine these skills within ourselves but also how to prepare our children and those we lead with the necessary tools to make the greatest impact. In this episode, we talk about the difference between our “comfort zones” and our “stretch zones”, how we can build resilience THROUGH community, and why integrity is the hardest skill to define. She also shares with us why she believes each one of us has unlimited capacity to develop these skills and the link between them and self care. This was a powerful conversation that I know you will gain so much value from. We would LOVE to hear from you as well. What are your thoughts about these soft skills?
