Sister Gill Goulding is Professor of Systematic Theology at Regis College in the University of Toronto. She has also been deeply involved in the synodal process initiated by Pope Francis and culminating in the current Synod in Rome.
She has written extensively about the process to date and in this interview with Pat Coyle of Irish Jesuit Communications, she explains her role as a theologian and participant in the processes over the last two years. She outlines the main themes that have arisen for consideration by this latest Synod and she tells of her own experience at previous Synods, contrasting them with the very different look and feel of this latest one.
