Matturri who stepped down as CEO of the world's largest index provider, S&P Dow Jones Indices in June 2020 after a  lengthy career in the index world, including as SVP Global Equity Index Management at Northern Trust Global Investments.

He has also worked for Bank of New York, DWS Investment Management Americas, and GSAM Strategist Portfolios amongst other investment management firms.  Alex was a pioneer in the use of index futures and options in portfolio management from  1987 onwards.  
Alex is a Member of The New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc., and the International Association For Quantitative Finance.
