If I was a teenager now I’d be doing e-commerce and building a personal brand across various platforms.
Education is geared towards creating professions and jobs, not entrepreneurship, enterprise, innovation and becoming wealthy.
If you want to create your own business and take over the world being innovative then the education system may not be for you.
Lots of people are looking at what they get paid and then doing the minimum to get that pay it is not an enterprising or entrepreneurial mindset.
Starting over
If I had to start again I would start earlier, I would probably do similar things – training and property because I enjoy them so much.
I’d invest in property and get into a low overhead high margin business with a business partner who I could leverage my skills against.
I would look to leverage social media more, building a personal brand and following
when you have a loyal following it doesn’t matter so much what the product or service is.
There are huge entrepreneurial opportunities around climate change. If you are able to bring a solution you could become very rich very quickly and be making a significant change for good.
