Listen "Recovering Our Creativity"
Episode Synopsis
Kristen and Tina discuss Recovering Our Creativity on this week’s episode of Intuition Talks. Creativity is the tenth stepping-stone and chapter of Tina’s book, The Spiritual Awakening of an Analytical Mind. Many of us have put our creativity on the back burner for a variety of reasons over time. This episode will focus on why it is important to relight that creativity flame within us all and, hopefully, inspire us all to recover our creative selves. This 13-week series following the chapters of Tina’s book is intended to offer a foundation of subject matters that often present themselves as we step onto or further down our path of self-discovery and transformation. We hope you will find inspiration in this walk through the stepping-stones of self-awakening with us. In addition, we are excited to end every episode with a channeled message delivered by either Kristen or Tina.If you would like to purchase a copy of The Spiritual Awakening of an Analytical Mind to follow along with us, the book is available on Amazon and from Tina’s website, www.tinalmoody.com. If you purchase through Tina’s website and email her, she would be happy to sign your copy before it is shipped out–and she sends love and gratitude your way. Show notes:Lynn Cottrell's spirit art technique is used as a way for your spirit guides or higher self to connect with you by showing you images that appear when the brusho paint dries on the watercolor paper. Used with permission.Prep:Water & large paint brush to apply water on the watercolor paper.Brusho paint Brusho Crystal Colours and Sets | BLICK Art Materials (dickblick.com)Watercolor paper (roughly 8x11 will do).Small paint brush to dip in brusho paint powder.Cut a piece of saran plastic wrap that is as large as your watercolor paper.Steps:Place the watercolor paper down in front of you.Have your brusho pots of paint out with lids off and your small paint brush ready.Dip the large paint brush in water and cover the watercolor paper completely until there is a nice gloss of water over it.Quickly choose the color of brusho you want by dipping the dry brush in the brusho powder (don't get the pots of powder wet).Flick the powder on the watercolor paper - but not too much. A flick or two is enough. You can do this several times with different colors - but don't cover the paper with too much paint. You want enough "white" from the paper to create lines.Immediately cover the paper with saran wrap.Place both hands on top of the plastic wrap and move your hands just slightly- but no more than once. Let the project dry overnight. The next day, take the saran wrap off and voila! You should see lines and shapes on your paper. Now, connect with your spirit guides or higher self. Ask them to show you images that will help you in your spiritual work, development, or practice. Take a fine point black pen or pencil and trace the lines that form the shapes that you see. You could see a tree, a mountain, an animal, a person, a face. Who knows! Have fun using this spiritual tool to connect with the spirit world! Thank you, LWe are now on YouTube!
