In this episode we speak with Dr. Dean Kriellaars. Dr Dean Kriellaars is a world-renowned expert in the field of Physical Literacy. He is a faculty member of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba. He is also a scientist at the Children’s Health Research Institute.His Human Performance Laboratory has numerous students and staff directed to undertake research on physical literacy and exercise.Dr. Kriellaars has been awarded two major university teaching awards and national and international awards for scientific research and innovation.He works with Canadian Sport for Life, Physical and Health Education Canada, the Sport Medicine and Science Council of Manitoba, as well as the RCMP on community wellness initiatives.
