Nicu Covaci is co-founder and current member of the rock/folk band Transsylvania Phoenix, begun in 1962. During the band's zenith, full stadium shows were common. In this episode, Nicu describes leaving the country due to oppression, then returning six months later for his equipment, hiding his bandmates inside the Marshall amp crates and crossing five borders to Germany.
