Derek has worked tasks on several tours including tour managing, road managing, digital promotion, or stage managing for events for artists including Maino, Joyner Lucas, Papoose, Cory Gunz, Tech N9ne, Bizarre (from D12), Mike Jones, Chingy, Mario, Jadakiss, Juvenile, Young Dirty Bastard, Chris Rivers, Chinx (rip), Millyz, and hundreds of independent artists. He has helped them close big endorsement deals with brands like Reebok and get them combined millions of views.
In 2015, Derek began work as a full-time publicist. He had previously been mentored by the late Duane Oliver Taylor (publicist for artists like Puff Daddy, Will Smith, Kid Rock). He set out with the goal of helping artists in the New England market get the same level of assistance as the major market artists were able to find. He has worked past press releases for Joyner Lucas, Malik Yusef (G.O.O.D. Music), Chris Webby, Chris Porter, Zay Hilfiger and many more.
