The Lagos State Government enacted the Guidelines for On-line Hailing Business Operation of Taxis in Lagos State 2020 which took effect August 20, 2020 . The Guideline was drafted for the purpose of regulating e-hailing businesses in Lagos State, Nigeria. These Guidelines are expected to cause a lot of controversy in the e-hailing space in Lagos State as companies like Uber and Bolt will be greatly affected by the regulation.
