Company owner/founder Britt Fair is no stranger to the title business, having grown up around the industry as the 3rd generation Fair in the title business in DFW. Britt’s late grandfather Bill Fair, and then his father David Fair, owned and operated Hexter-Fair Title Company, which was originally founded in Dallas in 1916. Britt joined David at Hexter-Fair in 2004 to learn the business and worked his way up the company ladder. When David sold Hexter-Fair to First American in 2012, Britt stayed aboard and ran the DFW operation for First American for almost 4 years. But Britt missed the ability for a local company to make its own decisions on client and employee matters, so at the end of 2015, Britt founded Fair Texas Title. The Fair legacy and the exclusive focus on DFW clients have resonated in the DFW marketplace, as many top title industry experts and real estate professionals have hopped on the Fair Texas Title bandwagon.
