John Angus MacDonald, lead guitarist of The Trews, joins the show to discuss the bands latest album Civilianaires. Civilianaires is the start of a new book in the tales of the group, as it is the first release after their 2016 self curated greatest (at that time) hits album. It shows a strong push towards new elements and growth, with the band bringing in youthful energy and fresh collaborators. Civilianaires seems to be a natural evolution, one The Trews themselves feel was necessary, continuing to hold true to their strengths while finding new ways to build and compliment them.
