Create a "surprise and delight" discount code for use on your website, that whoever runs your social media has at their disposal for monthly use. 3 usage cases that make sense:
1- Convert from Retail to DTC: If someone tagged your brand and purchased your product at Retail, you can DM them and encourage them to buy again, but this time on your website, where your margins are better AND you can create a direct relationship with them. If you do it via DM, you don't have to worry about the retailer seeing it and not being pleased with you undercutting the relationship.
2- Prospect a new customer: Seach a keyword like #lowFODMAP (489K posts on Instagram) and then curate the photos. When you see one that stands out, DM them and tell them you would love for them to try your product, that tackles that issue and let you know what they think!
3- Reward your most loyal customers directly: Search your tagged photos and then randomly (though actually being strategic based on the quality of content they post, location, and proximity to retailers and/or follower count) select users each week that you will "hook up" with a steep discount as a nice way of saying thanks!
