This week, we have a discussion with the the director of community outreach at The LLF, Ieesha Johnson, about her work on The Decision Project® (TDP). TDP is a grassroots initiative created by The LLF that empowers people in underserved communities to designate themselves as organ donors. We discuss her upbringing in Compton, Los Angeles, how she got into the world of nonprofits and organ procurement organizations, and her passion for community outreach and helping those in underserved communities.
