Nancy Andino is a highly experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years in the mental health field. She was raised in the island of Puerto Rico and Brooklyn, NY by a
powerhouse Puerto Rican mom, that nurtured her voice, curiosity and taught her to honor her Yes and her Nos with confidence and no reservations about laughing out loud. She is the founder of Tailored for Change, LLC, a bi-lingual private practice that was formed in response to the disappointments with the present mental health system. She offers a range of services including psychotherapy, groups, internships, clinical supervision, wellness retreats, consulting and training services. Nancy and approach is rooted in cultural humility and awareness, with a focus on serving diverse communities. She is certified in Gestalt therapy, EMDR trauma therapy, clinical supervision, Reiki, and Coherent Breath. Her dedication to continuous learning and expanding her therapeutic skills to provide the best possible services to her clients, grants her and the opportunity to challenge norms in the mental health field, to listen to her client’s needs, and offer culturally sensitive healing services through a specialized lens. She is expanding her services by offering mental wellness workbooks based on real life experiences, experiments and day to day challenges. The workbooks are curated to challenge the norms and to spark curiosity. They are accompanied by mini virtual courses for additional support. The Pillars of TRUST is her first in a series of workbooks that are scheduled for future release. The workbook projects support her passion for providing high-quality care and the opportunity to expand the common persons and mental health knowledge without complicating it with the therapeutic jargon.
