Episode Synopsis
Belshazzar, the son of Nebuchadnezzar, makes a mockery of God by throwing a debaucherous party in praise to pagan gods while drinking wine from vessels from the temple in Jerusalem. A hand appears and writes on the wall, and Daniel is the only one who can interpret it. The meaning of the writing: the kingdom will fall because of the pride of Belshazzar. He should have known better after seeing the life of his father Nebuchadnezzar, but he set himself against the Lord. What can we learn from Belshazzar’s downfall?
