Ryan Gorman hosts an iHeartRadio nationwide special featuring Bonnie Carroll, Retired Air Force Reserve Major & Founder of TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors). Bonnie Carroll joins the show to discuss her organization's work assisting the families of service members who sacrificed everything for this country, along with a way for Gold Star families to honor their loved ones on Memorial Day. Also, Jim Lorraine, USAF combat veteran and President of America's Warrior Partnership, joins the show. Jim Lorraine shares stories of those he served with who either died in battle or due to suicide. He also discusses how service member and veteran suicide has become a significant component of Memorial Day, along with ways to help prevent it. Finally, Tony Porta, Marine Veteran, checks in. Tony Porta honors the two Marines who sacrificed their lives to save him 15 years ago.
