Diving deeper into anger and pride. These two lower levels of the mind are designed to keep you stuck for centuries, for lifetimes, for cycles of birth and rebirth ad infinitum. The stickiness of these forces and attracter patterns lies in the fact that you can find morsels of truth scattered about their motivations. When you come from anger or pride you choose 10% truth and 90% falsehood, but it’s that little bit of truth that is so juicy for the ego. The feeling of being right for those at these levels is what keeps the guise of each going. Have you ever asked yourself, would I rather be right or happy? If you choose right, you’re far from God. If you say “I’m not sure,” you’re on your way to God, and if you choose happy instead of right, you’re moving towards higher and higher truths.
