"Nurse Nelly" leads us through the highs and the lows of being a high school nurse. With funny stories and also heartbreaking ones, we are able to hear what it is like to be on the frontlines of what our high schoolers are going through. A nurse practitioner who graduated from an Ivy League school on the East Coast, Nurse Nelly practiced in cardiology until she had kids and pursued a career as a high school nurse. The stories she tells give us pause for assessing the well being of our own kids as well as hope for their generation.
